For my first ad the persuasive techniques I used was a slogan which is ‘drinking solstice makes everything better’ I used this slogan to entice the audience and make them want to purchase my energy drink even though the slogan is hyperbolic my intention is to make sure the audience are excited by this slogan and therefore want to buy solstice. Some of the codes of conventions of a typical ad I used is I put a slogan, the price of the drink and a promotional offer which was buy 1 get 1 free. I decided to do a poster for this ad so my drink will be advertised on flyers and in magazines. For this ad, my target audience was females under 18 so I used stereotypical female colors to appeal to my chosen audience.
For my second ad the persuasive technique I used was a slogan which was ‘drinking solstice is what we do’ I used this slogan to catch the audience's attention and encourage them to drink solstice. The codes and conventions I used for this ad are heading a slogan and I put the price. This ad is a billboard advertisement. This ad appeals to my target audience of under 18’s through the use of bright colors that I've used.
For my last ad the persuasive technique I have used is a slogan the slogan is ‘stay a champ drink solstice.’ This slogan refers to the focus of my ad which is an ad that caters to people that box. The codes and conventions I used were slogans and this ad is also a poster advertisement. The target audience for this advertisement was people who box this is the audience I tried to cater to.
